Alienigenus

A botanical print in fabric collage. An unearthly alien specie that arose from the mysterious depths of my mind.
Bits of fussy cut pieces with great visual texture, previously cut from a dinosaur fabric panel, just seemed to fit together perfectly to form this monstrosity. All I had to add was a little imagination, ivory muslin fabric, batting, and a lot of echo machine stitching. The resulting quilt was trimmed and squared, then traditionally bound in black fabric. The nomenclature was embroidered in black, also.
